ALL THE DETAILS
This Regency dress is a women's size 12-14 (large) and is ideal for heights of about 5'8" to 5'10". Purchase of this listing includes the black dress and gold train, but none of the other pictured accessories or undergarments.
The evening gown includes:
- black velvet fabric in a silk/rayon blend
- a sweetheart neckline with vintage gold trim
- fitted, darted bodice
- a back closure of vintage mother of pearl buttons
- short, puffed sleeves with narrow cuffs
- a skirt that is gathered in back center, but fitted on the sides and front
- a 100% silk detachable train in gold (a $99 add-on) that has a wristband in the train to hold it up and is pinned closed in the front
- hooks on the inside of the train waistband to hook onto thread loops of the dress bodice to keep the train up while wearing it
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a flaw in the silk fabric used for the train, small spots are scattered throughout. See photo for an example of a spot. However, these spots are not noticeable when the train is worn, as you can see from the other photos.
To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this gown is pictured over a shift, stays, and petticoat, but no shift, stays, or petticoat are included with this listing. This gown is made to fit over stays and may not fit correctly over modern undergarments.
The dress measurements are as follows:
- Bust: 42"
- Underbust: 36"
- Back neck to hem length: 60"
- Train length, from waist to hem: 90"

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF
Please measure yourself while wearing the stays and other undergarments you plan to wear with the dress. Remember that measurements such as your bust and underbust should be smaller than the dress measurements by about an inch, to allow for ease of movement.
Refer to the measurement graphic in the listing and the video tutorial if you need assistance in understanding and taking your measurements. If you still have additional questions, please feel free to message me. If you would like it altered to fit your measurements, please message me for alteration pricing, as that will be an additional cost.
