Refund policy
While we hope that your item will be perfect for you, sometimes issues do arrive. In this case, we make every effort to resolve these as quickly as possible. Please contact us immediately with any questions or concerns at stitchinaddiction@gmail.com.
READY-TO-WEAR ITEMS have a 7-day return/exchange policy, which means you have seven (7) days after receiving your item to request a return/exchange. To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. Items that have been ALTERED or were purchased ON SALE are NOT eligible for a return/exchange. Please double-check all measurements before ordering a ready-to-wear item.
To start a return or exchange, you can contact us at stitchinaddiction@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, you are responsible for the return shipping charges, but we will provide instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damaged or Wrong Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within seven (7) days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. However, damage does not include fitting issues; please see above for policies regarding fit issues.
Please take the greatest care when opening your package - do not use scissors or sharp objects that may damage your item. Photographs of the damaged package and item will be required.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS are NOT eligible for returns, as they have been made for your measurement specifications and are nearly impossible to resell. Please double-check your measurements when submitting them to us. If you are in doubt about measurements, please use one of the following methods:
- Visit your local seamstress to have them take your measurements.
- Order a "mock-up add-on" from our shop; this way you will have a sample to try on to check fit.
- Request a virtual consultation (additional fees may apply) for us to help you with measurements.
While we make every effort to create a perfect fit, dressmaking is an art and a perfect fit cannot be guaranteed due to long distance. As a result, you may need to have a few alterations done locally once you receive your item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.
