A chemisette was usually worn during the day to fill in the neckline of low-neck Regency styles for both warmth and modesty purposes.  This linen chemisette is sustainably made of fabric remnants in the Lizzy style and based off extant examples that can be found here.

As a pattern tester, this chemisette is brand new and has never been worn.  It is the only chemisette in this size, fabric, and design and is available at a reduced price.  It can ship to you in 3-5 business days. Shipping within the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

The chemisette includes:

  • 100% linen in white
  • a cotton twill tape drawstring in the underbust band
  • a front closure where the drawstring(s) ties shut
  • a round-neck with one ruffle at the neck

The chemisette is shown over the proper undergarments, a shift and stays, but no shift or stays come with this purchase.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but this chemisette can be machine washed in cold water, dried on low heat, and pressed with a hot iron. 

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

 Items that have buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
