Sleeveless spencers can be seen in many Regency fashion plates and artwork, usually over the ubiquitous white dress.  Sleeveless spencers were the perfect way to make the most of a limited wardrobe - a new look without much cost or work.  These sleeveless spencers are inspired by Bridgerton colors and designs, and each one comes with a matching reticule.  All spencers and reticules have been made of remnants to reduce fabric waste.

ALL THE DETAILS

Please take careful note of the measurements given and feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding measurements or fit.  All spencers have accessible side seams so the bust can be altered slightly smaller or larger (~2") and buttons can also be easily moved.  They also all have a drawstring in the underbust so that can be drawn up to fit.

All reticules are large enough to fit a phone with a drawstring top.  Measurements of each reticule are approximately 5.5-8" wide and 8-10" deep.

The yellow/pink spencer is a size XS and features:

• a yellow polyester taffeta fabric with applied fabric design
  
• a cream polyester lining
  
• a v-neck with overlapping closure of buttons and a tie
• a pin-on pink flower
• measurements: bust 35", underbust 30", back neck to bottom back center 10", front shoulder to front bottom edge (over bust) 12"
• the pink/white reticule is made from upcycled linens and a pink poly crepe fabric backing and lining with a white polyester satin ribbon drawstring

The red spencer is a size M and features: 

• a red synthetic velvet
  
• a black polyester lining
  
• a v-neck with overlapping closure of buttons and a tie
• gold pleated organza trim on the back seams and around the neck
  
• measurements: bust 41", underbust 36", back neck to bottom back center 11", front shoulder to front bottom edge (over bust) 14.5"
• the red/gold reticule is made from silk jacquard scraps with a gold silk dupioni lining and a red polyester satin ribbon drawstring

The orange spencer is a size L and features: 

• an orange 100% cotton voile
  
• a white 100% cotton muslin lining
  
• a v-neck with overlapping closure of buttons and a tie
• measurements: bust 43", underbust 39", back neck to bottom back center 12.5", front shoulder to front bottom edge (over bust) 15.5"
• the green/orange/black reticule is made from silk brocade scraps with orange cotton voile lining, black rayon fringe, and a black cotton twisted cording drawstring

The lavender spencer is a size XL and features: 

• a poly/cotton lavender imperial batiste
  
• a white 100% cotton muslin lining
• a double-breasted front button closure with lapels and a collar
• a pin on deep purple floral arrangement
  
• measurements: bust 47", underbust 42", back neck to bottom back center 13.5", front shoulder to front bottom edge (over bust) 17"
• the purple/lavender reticule is made from silk jacquard scraps with lavender imperial batiste lining, tassels handmade from embroidery floss, and a lavender polyester satin ribbon

For the most accurate fit, please take the measurements while wearing your stays, other undergarments (i.e. shift, petticoat, etc), and dress. Your body measurements should be 1-2" smaller than the spencer measurements to allow for wearing ease. If you would like the spencer altered, please message for an alterations quote.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Each spencer and reticule will arrive with a care card.  All spencers can be washed, but reticules with silk content are dry clean only.

All items are prewashed and preshrunk. Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items that have buttons on them come with an extra button sewn inside.
