The short gown in this ensemble is based on an extant pattern from Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion (and is the same design as Jane's Morning Gown).

ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency short gownis a women's size 4-6 (small) and will fit a bust measurement up to 35" and an underbust measurement up to 30".

The short gown features:

• fully lined bodice (lined with 100% cotton lawn)
• front wrap closure
• a drawstring that runs under the bust, to allow for adjustability
• elbow length sleeves
• a skirt that is pleated in back center, but fitted on the front and sides

The short gown MEASUREMENTS are as follows:

• bust: 36"
• underbust: 31"
• back nape of neck to hem: 23.5"
• sleeve length (underarm to end of sleeve): 11"

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Please measure yourself while wearing the stays and other undergarments you plan to wear with the items.  Remember that measurements such as your bust and underbust should be smaller than the ensemble measurements by about an inch, to allow for ease of movement. Refer to the measurement graphic in the listing and the video tutorial if you need assistance in understanding and taking your measurements. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but this short gown can be washed in cold water and dried on low heat.  A warm iron can be used on it.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.
