This square neck ball gown is based on original dresses from the early Regency fashions and is inspired by the black gowns worn by Madame DeLaCroix throughout the show.  This gown comes with a complimentary black lace cape.

This ensemble was made as a sample and is new.  Made in a size small, this dress is ready-to-ship in just 3-5 days.  It is the only dress in this size, fabric, and design and is available at a reduced price; a new made-to-measure gown in this design starts at $349.  Shipping in the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency gown is a women's size 4-6 (small) and is ideal for heights of about 5'1" to 5'3".  

The ball gown features:

• a black polyester taffeta used for the bodice and sleeves
• a black polyester satin used for the skirt
• a black sparkly trim around the square neck and waist
• a fully lined and fitted, darted bodice
• button closure in the back
• short, puffed sleeves with narrow cuffs
• a skirt that is fitted in front and sides, but gathered in back center
  

The MEASUREMENTS are as follows:

• bust: 36"
• underbust: 31"
• back nape of neck to hem: 53"

To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this gown is pictured over a shift, stays, and petticoat, but no shift, stays, or petticoat are included with this listing. This gown is made to fit over stays and will not fit correctly over modern undergarments.

Measure your bust and waist and choose your size based on the pictured sizing guidelines. For the most accurate fit, please take the measurements while wearing your stays and other undergarments (i.e. chemise, petticoat, etc). The dress will be hemmed to sit about about 2" off the floor based on the measurements you provide.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Please measure yourself while wearing the stays and other undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.  Remember that measurements such as your bust and underbust should be smaller than the dress measurements by about an inch, to allow for ease of movement.
