Be your own Jo March in a high-quality, historically accurate Garibaldi blouse. Whether you are an attendee at an event, a historical reenactor, an actress in theatre, or an avid admirer of Louisa May Alcott's books, this blouse will make you feel ready for an adventure with Jo!

Zouave ensembles were popular with young women during the years of the American Civil War and consisted of three pieces: a full pleated skirt, a Garibaldi blouse, and a Spanish jacket.  This blouse is inspired by military uniforms and multiple patterns for the blouse exist in Peterson's Magazine editions from the 1860s and can be seen in these extant examples.

As a modeling sample, this Garibaldi blouse was worn once for photography and videography.  It is the only blouse in this size, fabric, and design and is available at a reduced price.  It can ship to you in 3-5 business days. Shipping within the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

The full Zouave ensemble (or just the blouse) can also be commissioned in the size and fabric of your choice. Commission pricing starts at $585 for the ensemble. If you would like to commission it in the size and color of your choice, message me today!
