This Regency dress features drawstrings in the neck, underbust, and sleeves, allowing for sizing flexibility and comfort.  Pastel dresses like this were ubiquitous in the Regency era and can be dressed up or down from both evening and day wear.  The dress is based off extant gowns and fashion plates.

This dress was made as a sample out of yellow eyelet.  This is the only Regency dress in this size, fabric, and design.  It is available at a reduced price and can ship to you in 3-5 business days. Shipping within the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency dress can fit sizes 12-20W due to the adjustability of the drawstrings.  It is ideal for heights of about 5'7" to 5'9".  

The yellow gown includes:

• 100% cotton fabric in a yellow eyelet
• a rounded neckline with a drawstring in bodice front and back
  
• underbust gathers and a drawstring in the underbust
• a tie back closure of drawstrings and buttons on top for secure closing
• short, puffed sleeves that end in a narrow cuff
• a skirt that is gathered in back center, but fitted on the sides and front
  

To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this gown is made to fit over stays and may not fit correctly over modern undergarments.

The dress measurements are as follows:

• Bust: up to 49"
• Underbust: up to 43"
• Back neck to hem length: 60"

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Please measure yourself while wearing the stays and other undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.  Remember that measurements such as your bust and underbust should be smaller than the dress measurements by about an inch, to allow for ease of movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but this cotton dress can be machine-washed on a cold, gentle cycle.  It should be laid flat to dry and pressed with a warm iron.  

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
