ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency ensemble is a women's size 12-14 (large) and is ideal for heights of about 5'9" to 5'11".  It will fit a bust measurement up to 44".

The ball gown features:

• 100% white cotton voile
  
• an overlapping v-neck at both the front and back, trimmed in lace
• adjustable cotton tape drawstring in back underbust seam
• gathered detail in front bodice
• back bodice closure of two hooks and a drawstring
• short puffed sleeves cap sleeves trimmed in lace
  
• a skirt that is fitted in front and sides, but gathered in back center

The sash shown is NOT included with your purchase.

The MEASUREMENTS are as follows:

• bust: up to 46"
• underbust: up to 39"
• back nape of neck to hem: 61"
• side neck (front) to underbust: 14"

If you need this dress shortened, please put your back neck to floor measurement in the "notes" box at checkout.  I will shorten the dress at no charge, but please note that it will take 10-12 business days for your dress to be shipped.

To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this dress is pictured over a shift, stays, and petticoat, but no shift, stays, or petticoat are included with this listing. This dress is made to fit over stays and will not fit correctly over modern undergarments.

Measure your bust and waist to see if the gown will fit you. For the most accurate fit, please take the measurements while wearing your stays and other undergarments (i.e. shift, petticoat, etc). The dress should sit about 2" off the ground.

Alterations can be completed for an additional cost; please message us to discuss alterations and get a price quote.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

Please measure yourself while wearing the stays and other undergarments you plan to wear with the items.  Remember that measurements such as your bust and underbust should be smaller than the ensemble measurements by about an inch, to allow for ease of movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but this ball gown can be machine washed in cold water on gentle cycle and hung or laid flat to dry.  An iron on the cotton setting can be used to remove wrinkles.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
