This round neck ball gown is based on original dresses from mid-Regency fashions, as well as the dresses seen on the show.  A decorative overlay on the entire dress adds the perfect Bridgerton touch!

Inspired by Penelope Bridgerton in Season 3, this dress was worn once for a photoshoot and once for an event.  It has been cleaned and is in like new condition; since it is used, it is listed at a reduced price.  The shawl and matching reticule are also included as a FREE GIFT.

ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency gown is a size large (women's 12-14) and is ideal for heights of about 5'8"-5'10".  It is made of a polyester turquoise satin crinkle fabric with a sheer overlay that is decorated with sequin paisleys in turquoise and silver.  The "shawl" is a glitter tulle in teal.

The ball gown features:

• a rounded neckline, with a scoop neck in front
  
• a fitted, darted bodice
  
• a fully lined bodice
• a back closure of silver buttons
• short, puffed sleeves with narrow cuffs
• a skirt that is gathered in back center, but fitted on the sides and front
• a sheer, decorative overlay

PLEASE NOTE: This dress includes ONLY the shawl and reticule, but not the gloves or any other accessories shown in the photographs.

The MEASUREMENTS are as follows:

• bust: 42"
• underbust: 38"
• back neck to floor: 61" + sheer overlay extends about 3"
• shawl: 58" wide x 130" long
• reticule: 8" deep (should fit most cell phones)

This gown was made to fit over a balconette bra as well as a period petticoat. 

Measure your bust and waist to choose your size based on the pictured sizing guidelines.  For the most accurate fit, please take the measurements while wearing your stays and other undergarments.   The dress should sit about 1-2" off the floor.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.
