This round neck ball gown is based on original dresses from mid-Regency fashions, as well as the dresses seen on the show.  A decorative overlay on the entire dress adds the perfect Bridgerton touch!

Inspired by Francesca Bridgerton in Season 3, this dress was worn once for a photoshoot and once for an event.  It has been cleaned and is in almost new condition; since it is used, it is listed at a reduced price.  The cape and matching reticule are also included as a FREE GIFT.

ALL THE DETAILS

This Regency gown is a size large (women's 12-14) and is ideal for heights of about 5'8"-5'10".  It is made of a vintage baby blue acetate taffeta fabric with a sheer white lace overlay.  The cape is made of a white cotton damask and lined with white polyester satin.  

The ball gown features:

• a rounded neckline, with a scoop neck in front
  
• a fitted, darted bodice
  
• a fully lined bodice
• a back closure of pearl buttons
• short, puffed sleeves
• a skirt that is gathered in back center, but fitted on the sides and front
• a sheer, decorative overlay

PLEASE NOTE: This dress includes ONLY the cape and reticule, but not the gloves or any other accessories shown in the photographs.  There are also very small dingy spots on the INSIDE of the dress hem; these are not visible and the price has been adjusted accordingly.

The MEASUREMENTS are as follows:

• bust: 43"
• underbust: 39"
• back neck to floor: 60" + sheer overlay extends about 1-2"
• cape center back length: 16"
• reticule: 11" deep x 8" wide (should fit most cell phones)

To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this gown is to be worn over a shift, stays, and petticoat, but no shift, stays, or petticoat are included with this listing. This gown is made to fit over stays and will not fit correctly over modern undergarments.

Measure your bust and waist to choose your size based on the pictured sizing guidelines.  For the most accurate fit, please take the measurements while wearing your stays and other undergarments.   The dress should sit about 1-2" off the floor.

A care card will be included with your order, but due to the vintage acetate taffeta and sheer overlay, this dress is dry clean only.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
