Limited Edition: Emma (1996) Blue Striped Dress (1805-1815)

Inspired by the blue striped dress worn by Emma in the 1996 production, this Limited Edition dress is sure to make you feel "handsome, rich, and clever."  It will be made in a striped blue and white cotton lawn. 

There is only ONE (1) available of this design, so purchase now if you want this dress!  The dress will be made in the Bridgerton Ball Gown design (a $349 value).  This dress is available in all sizes from XS to 5X.

ALL THE DETAILS

This dress is made-to-order to your measurements. Within 3-5 business days of receiving your order, I will send you a measurement worksheet listing the measurements required for a perfect fit.

The dress includes:

• 100% cotton lawn fabric in a blue/white stripe
• a rounded neckline, with a scoop neck in front
  
• a fitted, darted bodice
  
• a fully lined bodice
• a back closure of buttons
• short, puffed sleeves with narrow cuffs
• a skirt that is gathered in back center, but fitted on the sides and front

To achieve the correct historical silhouette, this dress would be worn over a shift and stays, but no shift and stays are included with this listing.  This dress is made to fit over historical stays and will not fit correctly over modern undergarments.  However, if you would like your commissioned dress to fit over modern undergarments, please communicate this on your measurement worksheet, and I will be happy to oblige!  The dress will be hemmed to sit about 2" off the floor, based on the measurements you provide.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but this cotton dress will be washable.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
