Be your own Jo March in a high-quality, historically accurate Zouave ensemble. Whether you are an attendee at an event, a historical reenactor, an actress in theatre, or an avid admirer of Louisa May Alcott's books, this ensemble will make you feel ready for an adventure with Jo!

Zouave ensembles were popular with young women during the years of the American Civil War, as both the jacket and the blouse had details inspired by military uniforms.  Multiple patterns for both the blouse and the jacket exist in Peterson's Magazine editions from the 1860s.  An ensemble includes a skirt, Garibaldi blouse, and Spanish jacket.  Each item has been designed based off various extant examples.

As a pattern sample, this is the only Zouave ensemble in this size, fabric, and design.  With the trim add-ons included on the shirtwaist, jacket, and skirt, commission pricing for this set would start at $819.  However, since it is a pattern sample, it is available at a reduced price and can ship to you in 3-5 business days. Shipping within the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

This ensemble can also be commissioned in the size and fabric of your choice. Commission pricing starts at $585. If you would like to commission it in the size and color of your choice, message me today!
