Custom Ball Gown for Melanie (Final Payment)

This is a custom listing reserved for Melanie and is the final payment of two.

As a custom piece, this item is professionally handmade at my Texas (USA) studio and will be completed and shipped by the end of April 2023, provided  the final payment is made by March 31, 2023.

ALL THE DETAILS

Purchase of this listing includes the final steps for making a Regency ball gown by recreating the fashion plate seen in the listing photo.

These steps are:

• cutting, sewing, and fitting the ball gown according to the client's measurements and the fashion plate design
• progress photos sent 1-2 times throughout the process for client feedback on design

The ball gown will be replicated as closely as possible from the one seen in the fashion plate and will include:

• a seafoam green poly satin underdress
• an ivory poly chiffon overdress
• an ivory lace ruffle on the hem of the overdress
• pink flower trim around the hem of the overdress between three rows of ivory satin ribbon trim
• pink flowers on the bodice of the ball gown
• a square neckline bodice (as seen in the fashion plate)
• button closure down the back of the bodice
• short puffed sleeves with details as seen on the fashion plate

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but if you choose a silk or wool fabric, it will be dry clean only.  Most dresses made with cotton, linen, or polyester fabrics can be washed.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
