Custom 1840s Sweeney Todd Dress for Jen (Second Payment)

This is a custom listing reserved for Jen and is the second payment of three.

As a custom piece, this item is professionally handmade at my Texas (USA) studio and will be completed and shipped by November 31, 2024, provided the downpayment is made by May 27, 2024, and the final payment is made by November 15, 2024.

ALL THE DETAILS

Purchase of this listing includes the first several steps for creating an 1840s dress based on the dress seen in the listing photo from the Broadway Sweeney Todd production.

These steps are:

• finding and purchasing buttons and collar trim (with feedback from the client)
• virtual fitting of the bodice in September 2024
• cutting, sewing, and fitting the dress according to the client's measurements,
  feedback from the mock-up/fitting, and the original inspiration photos
• progress photos sent 1-2 times throughout the process for client feedback on
  design and details

The dress will be created to replicate the one seen in the photos, as provided by the client, as closely as possible

The final payment will be sent by October 31st and will be due by November 15, 2024.  The final payment due will be between $274.50-$424.50; I will let you know the exact amount that will be due once the remainder of the supplies have been purchased and the fitting completed (by September 30, 2024).  After that payment, the dress will be completed and shipped by November 30, 2024.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

A care card will be included with your order, but if you choose a silk or wool fabric, it will be dry clean only.  Most dresses made with cotton, linen, or polyester fabrics can be washed.

All fabrics are preshrunk, usually by prewashing.  Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.

Items with buttons will arrive with an extra button sewn inside.
