Size L/36" Length: Quilted Flannel Petticoat (1830s-1860s)

Stay warm during winter chores and activities in this Victorian-inspired quilted flannel petticoat.

Quilted flannel petticoats were worn under dresses to stay warm during cold weather.  Extants were often made of wool flannel in solid colors with beautiful hand quilted patterns.

This petticoat was made from pre-quilted, printed cotton flannel with polyester batting.  It has also been used for several events and washed more than once, resulting in some pilling in the flannel.  However, it still serves the purpose of keeping you warm while providing a cute petticoat.  It is being sold at a deep discount due to being preloved.  Shipping within the U.S. is FREE for all orders over $50.

This petticoat is 36" long.

The petticoat includes:

• 100% cotton flannel with polyester batting
• a waistband that buttons at the back and fits a waist of up to 37"
• a width of 80"
• a single layer of blue flannel at the top that is gathered into the waistband

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

A flannel petticoat should be at least 2-3" shorter than the dress it will be worn under.  Please refer to the measurement graphic in the listing and this video tutorial if you need assistance in understanding and taking your measurements. CARE INSTRUCTIONS

This petticoat can be machine washed and dried in cold water and pressed with a hot iron.

All items are prewashed and preshrunk. Seller is not responsible for any allergic reactions to the detergent used in prewashing.
